Throwback Thursday 09/23/2016 – The Past/Way Back When…
I did have a past. From joining Club Penguin in 2005, to my rejoin in 2010 or 2011, and blogging, I had some success. And when I mean success, I don’t mean in the stalls making some tuba sounds…
And so did Club Penguin. They had a past. 11 years of success, making a release in 2005- A lucky virtual world for a classic, modern game. Waddling on at its finest.
But wait, there’s more! Have a look below!
Fluffy The Fish: A common yellow sea fish mainly found swimming on the main waters of the Club Penguin island. It has been also catched many times by a few waddlers who go Ice Fishing. A display variant of this fish can be found at the Lighthouse.
The Lighthouse/Beacon Telescope: A telescopic item that is usually located at the top of the Lighthouse, or at the Beacon of the Lighthouse. This has been used since about sometime 10 years ago in 2006, and its main purpose/function is to basically look through the scope to find anything and/or anyone here and there in the distances, such as Rockhopper arriving/departuring to/from Club Penguin via his “Migrator” (his ship and name).
The Club Penguin Times Newspaper: Newspapers have been around for several years. The earliest is probably in the 1700s- But the real story, is that the earliest on Club Penguin is in 2005: The first, new, black and white newspaper printed. Like me, enjoying reading newspapers, both in reality and virtually. Now what’s on the news today?
The Western Party of 2006: Yee-Haw! Y’all’d hop on up if ya did ’bout a decade ago! The big ol’ island, some sorta wild ride’s happened here and there years ago. Ya see all sorts of them west coast pardners passin’ by and such, and once ya know, you’re back in time, time for a wild west showdown there by the farms, the saloons, and all that sorts of tomfoolery. For a heads up, just don’t end up crashin’ into a box of manure. Or else, it’d be a real stink!
Whew! Quite the best for that one to save for now. All these go to the Club Penguin blog. And I betcha, that’s not all of the history, but at least for now.
